Bond calculator কীভাবে ব্যবহার করবেন

Prices a bond from its yield বা finds the yield থেকে maturity from the price, এবং shows current yield ও সময়কাল, which measures interest-rate risk.

ধাপে ধাপে ব্যবহারের নিয়ম

1. Choose দাম থেকে yield, বা yield থেকে দাম.
2. Enter the face মান, coupon হার, coupons প্রতি বছর ও বছর থেকে maturity.
3. Enter the yield বা the দাম you will বেতন.

প্রতিটি ইনপুটের অর্থ

• Face মান – The পরিমাণ repaid দরে maturity.
• Coupon হার – face মান.-এর The বার্ষিক সুদ as a শতাংশ
• Yield থেকে maturity – The return if held থেকে maturity.

ফলাফল কীভাবে পড়বেন

• Bond দাম – coupons-এর Present value ও the face মান.
• প্রবাহ yield – Annual coupon ÷ দাম.
• সময়কাল – The weighted average time থেকে receive the cash flows. Modified duration estimates the price changeটি yield.-এ a 1% change-এ

সূত্র

দাম = Σ coupon ÷ (1 + y ÷ m)^t + face ÷ (1 + y ÷ m)^n. Macaulay duration = Σ t × PV(cash flow t) ÷ price ÷ m. Yield থেকে maturity হলো solved numerically.

একটি সমাধান করা উদাহরণ

বছরে A 1,000 bond with a 4% coupon paid twiceটি 10-এ বছর, priced থেকে yield 5%, হলো worth 922.05. Its current yield হলো 4.338% ও its Macaulay duration হলো 8.26 বছর.

অনুমান ও সীমাবদ্ধতা

• The purchase হলো on a coupon তারিখ with না accrued সুদ.
• না default risk.
• Taxes ও dealing costs are excluded.

• Assuming bond prices cannot fall. They fall when yields rise.
