모든 공인 IPv4 또는 IPv6 주소를 조회해 대략적인 도시, 지역, 국가, 해당 주소를 쓰는 인터넷 제공업체, 네트워크 번호(ASN), 시간대, 현지 통화를 보여 줍니다. 방문자, 서버, 이메일이 어디서 왔는지 확인하거나, VPN이 작동하는지 확인하거나, 네트워크 운영 주체를 알아볼 때 사용하세요.

각 입력 항목의 의미
- IP address – An IPv4 address such as 8.8.8.8 or an IPv6 address such as 2001:4860:4860::8888. Leave empty to use your own address.
결과 읽는 법
- Location – City, region, country, continent, postal code and coordinates the address is registered or routed to.
- 네트워크 – The internet provider the 회사/기관, the ASN the domain behind the address.
- Region 세부 정보 – 시간대 local 시간, 통화 international calling code개에 that place.

No calculation. The address is matched against a geolocation database run by the lookup service ipwho.is. Databases combine registry records, routing data and measurements, so each result is an estimate.
계산 예시
Looking up 8.8.8.8 shows Google LLC as the provider, AS15169 as the network and a location in California, because the address belongs to Google’s public DNS service.
가정과 한계
- The location is the best estimate of where the network is based, not where the device is. It is often only right to the city or region.
- Private addresses such as 192.168.1.1 and 10.0.0.1 do not exist on the public internet, so they cannot be located.
- The address is sent to ipwho.is when you press the button. It is not sent before.
흔한 실수
- Expecting a street address. An IP address can never show a house or a person.
- Looking up a private address such as 192.168.0.10 and expecting a result.
- Treating a VPN or mobile-network address as the user’s real location, because it shows the VPN server or the carrier’s hub.
