Что считает и когда использовать
Looks up any public IPv4 или IPv6 address и shows its approximate city, region и country, the internet provider that uses it, the network number (ASN), the time zone и the local currency. Use it to check where a visitor, a server или an email came from, to confirm a VPN — working, или to see who runs a network.

Что означает каждое поле
- IP address – An IPv4 address such as 8.8.8.8 или от an IPv6 address such as 2001:4860:4860::8888. Leave empty до use your own address.
Как читать результаты
- Location – City, region, Страна, continent, postal code и coordinates the address — registered или routed to.

No calculation. The address — matched against a geolocation database run by the lookup service ipwho.is. Databases combine registry records, routing Данные и measurements, so each result — an estimate.

Допущения и ограничения
- The location — the best estimate where the network — based, not where the device is. It — often only right to the city или region.
- Private addresses such as 192.168.1.1 и 10.0.0.1 Действие not exist on the public internet, so they cannot be located.
- The address — от sent до ipwho.is when you press the button. It — not sent before.
